Hi Broncos! I'm Wendy Obispo, a third-year Marketing major, and I'm running to be your Business Senator! My mission is to promote inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation in our college. With your support, we can make a positive impact on our campus and ensure that every student feels heard, valued, and supported. INNOVATION
I believe that it is critical for CPP to stay at the forefront of new ideas and emerging trends in the business world. As your Business Senator, I am committed to fostering a culture of innovation that encourages creativity, risk-taking, and problem-solving.
COLLABORATION
I will prioritize collaboration and working with other student leaders to achieve common goals. Building coalitions with other student organizations, reaching out to other student leaders, and advocating for shared interests, are a part of my plan.
TRANSPARENCY
I will work to create a culture of open communication, transparency, and inclusivity. This means that I will actively seek out your feedback and incorporate it into my decision-making processes. I will also work to keep you informed of my progress and to be transparent about the challenges we face and the solutions we are working on.
INCLUSIVITY
I want to create a welcoming environment for all students, regardless of their backgrounds, identities, or experiences. I will advocate for policies and initiatives that promote diversity in all its forms. This can include promoting diversity in the classroom, in student organizations, and in the curriculum.

About me
My name is Wendy Obispo, I am currently in my third year as a marketing major here at Cal Poly Pomona, and I've been fortunate enough to get involved with some amazing organizations on campus!
I love music! I love discovering new artists and listening to different genres- you might even catch me singing along to anything from rock to hip-hop. In my free time, I enjoy learning about filmmaking and editing different videos.
When I'm not on campus or pursuing my hobbies, I am probably spending time with my family and friends. I am a big believer in the power of community, and I am incredibly lucky to have such supportive people in my life who encourage me to pursue my dreams.
Overall, I am a student who is excited about life and eager to make a difference. I am honored to be running as business senator, and I hope that through this campaign, you will get to know me a little better and see why I am so passionate about serving my fellow broncos!
